At SGEC, every fan is designed from scratch as per client parameters, and not from a printed catalogue. For each client's unique fan design requirement, we collect technical inputs from the user (through site visits, if necessary), discuss issues, exchange notes, and finally insist on technically approved drawings before manufacturing. This parametric design capability combined with due diligence ultimately delivers a high-performance fan unit every single time!

We make fans from as small as 1000 CMH blowers, to heavy-duty DWDI process fans as big as a 2-storey building! From the merciless world of heavy dust load handling Cement Mill application, to the demanding high-temperature realm of a Steel Sintering plant. From Air Ventilation system fans, to custom-design special purpose fans with multiple operating points. Having an efficient and versatile fan modeler allows us to generate a wide range of high-quality fan products for stand-alone as well as project applications.

Fans are energy guzzling machines in any industry. The increasing cost of electric power generation and the need for a greener world makes it a compulsion today to have energy-efficient turbo-machinery. At SGEC, we have an "Efficiency-comes-First" policy, and all our fans are engineered from the ground up to be able to perform at over 85% total efficiency (non-particulate). And this efficiency-driven fan performance plays a tangible role in ultimately lowering the cost of production for our clients.

For ID fans with a big rotor or large impeller diameter, retro-fitting is often a more preferable and low-cost option. We offer high-efficiency modified impellers in cases where (a.) the fan output needs to be increased for higher production targets, (b.) the fan's operating efficiency is low and needs to be improved upon, and (c.) the fan's operating point has shifted and needs to be optimized according to the altered system resistance. We also undertake repair and reclamation of impellers and fan wheels damaged by abrasive wear or worn-out vanes. In many cases, we can retro-fit entire new fan units to re-use the existing (old) fan civil foundation.

SGEC also offers fan consultancy services for third-party fan units, and we have a long experience in solving many kinds of fan-related problems at site, including typical issues such as: the fan being unable to develop required flow and pressure, unknown source of vibration in fans, or any other fan problem which may be unique to each user.
